Available Positions

SpectraCell Laboratories, Inc., is a leader in nutritional testing. We are looking to add an IT Project Manager/ Network Administration to the Houston corporate office.

 The IT Project Manager will not only be responsible for planning, executing, reporting, and implementing multiple IT projects, but also the overall planning, organizing, and execution of IT functions as a whole.

IT/Project Management:

  • Managing IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.

  • Directs and prioritizes the work load of subordinate personnel

  • Supporting technical projects from initiation through implementation, including phases such as design, procurement, build/configure, testing, implementation, and close.

  • Developing and maintaining various project plans, including coordinating and preparing project activities, monitoring project budgets, and managing/resolving project issues.

  • Monitoring project progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.

  • Leading multiple projects at any given time for various business units.

  • Assisting in the ongoing improvement of the overall IT department and processes

Network Administration:

  • Establishes network specifications; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.

  • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.

  • Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.

  • Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.

  • Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements.

  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required. A MIS or CIS degree is preferred.

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or equivalent experience required.

  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • Five (5) or more year experience in direct management of multiple projects is preferred

  • Network Performance Tuning, LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Problem Solving, Strategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study, Technical Zeal

  • Database management & design experience a plus

Territory Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

The territory manager is responsible for all sales activities, from growing current business to targeting and securing new business and driving new sales growth within assigned territory. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

  • Primary focus is to increase revenue stream from current client accounts and proactively develop new accounts from leads generated by marketing activities.

  • Develop new prospects and interacts with existing customers by phone and face to face to increase sales.

  • Conduct sales presentations for clinical diagnostic services in client office as well as over the phone and web meetings.

  • Follow-up on marketing activity leads in order to generate further customer interest, and acquire new accounts.

  • Participate in regular sales team meetings to review sales performance against objectives and goals.

  • Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with physicians and decision makers.

  • Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various products and services the company offers.

  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes. 

Job Specifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Medical, Biology, Nutrition, or related field.

  • Minimum Sales Experience Requirement: 3-5 years outside, business to business sales.

  • Must be goal oriented, have an entrepreneurial, outgoing and ambitious personality.

Special Requirements:

  • Candidate must have residency within the assigned territory.

  • A valid driver’s license. 

  • A motor vehicle record in good standing.

  • Must be open to some overnight travel within assigned territory
