Telomere Testing

Evaluation of patients' telomere length is an indicator of how rapidly they are aging relative to a normal population. Increases in telomere loss may point to an increase in immunoproliferation, inability to handle oxidative stresses, or progression of chronic disease and metabolic abnormalities.
