Components:

Aspirin is an anto-platelet drug that works to prevent heart attacks and strokes by reducing the production of thromboxane, the chemical that makes platelets sticky. ART is an enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) used to determine levels of 11-dehydro thromboxane B2 (11dhTxB2) in human urine, which aids in the qualitative detection of aspirin effect in apparently healthy individuals post ingestion. In aspirin treated patients, high levels of 11dhTxB2 are associated with increased risk of heart attack and cardiac death.
