CEO
William B. (Chip) Stanberry, Jr. - Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
From 1974 to 1980, Mr. Stanberry was President of Hycel, Inc. (AMEX), a laboratory instrument and diagnostics Company where he had previously served as Chief Financial Officer and House Counsel. He then founded and was Chief Executive Officer of Surgicare Corporation (NASDAQ), an operator of outpatient surgical centers, from 1980 to 1984, and was Chairman of a successor company, Medical Care International, Inc. (NYSE), from 1984 to 1985. Mr. Stanberry subsequently founded and served as Chief Executive Officer from 1986 to 1991 of OmniMed Corporation, a diversified, privately-owned medical investment and holding company. Mr. Stanberry holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J. D. from The University of Texas School of Law.

SCIENTIFIC DIRECTOR
John F. Crawford, Ph.D., serves as Vice President of Operations.
Dr. Crawford has 25 years of operating and general management experience in the clinical laboratory industry. At SpectraCell he oversees the daily operations of our laboratory and works closely with the University of Texas Biochemical Institute to develop new assays. Since 1987, Dr. Crawford has directed laboratory oversight, general management and physician services for Physicians Clinical Services Laboratory and SmithKline Laboratories. Dr. Crawford received a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Drexel University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Medical College of Pennsylvania.

CORPORATE STAFF
Otto F. Schaefer serves as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Schaefer began his career in the clinical laboratory industry as a medical technologist with the Methodist Healthcare System in Houston, where he was subsequently Manager of Laboratory Medicine and Director of Marketing and Physician Recruitment. His sales and sales-management experience includes Nichols Institute, where he served as a Regional Sales Manager, and Specialty Laboratories, where he served as Manager of National Accounts and Managed Care. Mr. Schaefer holds a B. S. in Biology and a M. B. A. in Marketing and Management, both from the University of Houston.

William R. Preece, CPA serves SpectraCell as Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Preece's experience includes Price Waterhouse, Grant Thorton, where he was a senior manager, and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for private and publicly-owned companies, including Rx Medical Services, an operator of clinical labs and imaging centers, and Physician's Surgical Care, an outpatient surgical center company. Mr. Preece has also held management responsibility for a variety of corporate administrative functions. Mr. Preece, is a licensed CPA, and holds a B. S. and a M. S. in Accounting from the University of Florida.
